Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded can use rotisserie or leftover chicken
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers about 1 sleeve
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Shred the cooked chicken and prepare the other ingredients.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese and green onions, if using. Spread the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle over the chicken mixture and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
