- Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add the seared chicken back into the skillet, cover, and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese before serving and garnish with fresh basil.
