Method
 

  1. Marinate the chicken thighs with half of the honey garlic sauce in a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the honey garlic sauce by whisking together the remaining honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, ground ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add marinated chicken thighs, and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken, reduce heat to medium, and let it simmer for 5 minutes to thicken.
  5. Remove from heat, let the chicken rest for a few minutes, slice, and drizzle with extra sauce before serving.
