  • 1 pound ground beef Choose a good quality for the best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adds rich garlic flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Enhances overall taste.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Essential for flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Adds a mild kick.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Melts beautifully inside the meatballs.
  • 1 can (16 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough Outer layer that becomes golden and flaky.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds savory flavor to the topping.
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter Gives a lovely golden color.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional) Adds a pop of color.

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined. Shape into 12 small meatballs, each about 1 inch in diameter, and place a small amount of shredded cheddar cheese in the center of each meatball.
  2. Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate it into 12 individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 4 inches in diameter. Place one meatball in the center of each biscuit circle and fold the edges over the meatball, pinching to seal.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush the tops of the sealed biscuit bombs with melted butter and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Allow the bombs to cool for a few minutes before serving. Optionally, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
