Filling
  • 1 pound ground beef Choose a good quality for best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adds garlic flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Enhances overall taste.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Essential for flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Adds a little kick.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Melty goodness.
  • 1 package (16 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough Outer layer for wrapping.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Savory topping.
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted For brushing on top.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional) For garnish.

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined. Divide into 12 equal portions and shape into small patties. Place shredded cheddar cheese in the center of each patty and fold edges to seal.
  2. Open the package of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 4 inches in diameter. Place one beef patty in the center and wrap the biscuit around it, pinching edges to seal.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place wrapped patties seam-side down on the baking sheet. Mix melted butter and grated Parmesan cheese, and brush over the tops of the bombs.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Optionally, sprinkle with chopped parsley.
