Chicken
  • 2 large chicken breasts about 1.5 pounds total
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice optional
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and place them in a baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  4. Brush the herb mixture over both sides of the chicken breasts. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes if time allows.
  5. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
